About Us

The Women's Book (TWB) is a woman-owned multimedia company that connects businesswomen to resources to advance their careers, communities and lifestyles. Ultimately, our work fosters a centralized network of women's networks and information focused on advancing businesswomen.

We connect followers to local and national resources through a multimedia platform that includes printed and digital publications, a growing network of micro websites, social media and great events that bring our publications to life. We also serve as a promoter and covenor of women's organizations to help them share information and collaborate.
Our regional media markets include Columbus, Cincinnati and Northeast Ohio (Cleveland and Akron), and the San Francisco Bay Area with additional markets coming soon.

Why We Do What We Do

Our goal is to contribute to social and economic growth by meeting the information needs of women in business and organizations that support their individual and collective success.

We believe that women who have greater access to information, resources and supportive networks are more likely to be aware of the possibilities for their careers, communities and lives, and to be inspired to rise to their greatest potential.

How We Share Information

1. Print

Community Books: Printed, coffee table style books featuring profiles of local inspiring women, corporate spotlights and resource directory listings (local women-owned businesses and nonprofits).

Magazines: Printed and digital magazines providing career advice, event recaps, resource spotlights, and style tips for women in business.

Custom Publications: Tailored publications for specific industries or groups that raise the profile of and inform readers about professional associations, community groups and corporate initiatives of interest to women in business.

2. Online

E-newsletters: Linking readers to local and news, blog articles and upcoming community events. Featuring an online resource directory, a daily news feed, community calendars and blog articles.

Social media: We use primarily Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to connect readers with each other and to provide a regular news feed of what's happening for and by women.

3. Events

We bring our publications to life through unique local events that connect readers to each other, our profiled women leaders, community resources and our advertising partners.
