Profile of a Risk-Taker: Cindy Monroe, Founder & CEO, Thirty-One Gifts
Monroe is the acting CEO for Thirty-One Gifts. She serves on the board of directors for the Direct Selling Association and the advisory board of The Salvation Army of Central Ohio. She is a member of the ATT Women’s Entrepreneur Forum and the Columbus II Chapter of the Women Presidents' Organization (WPO). Direct Selling News named her one of the 20 Most Influential Women in Direct Selling in 2012 and she also appeared on Columbus Business First's Forty Under 40 and Fast Fifty Companies lists and is a regional winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2011.
She is profiled in this year's Columbus Ohio area edition of The Women's Book. Our theme is Taking Big Leaps: How Risk-Taking Drives Success.
She says, "A big leap should always help you reach a long-term goal. Have a well-defined vision of what you want to accomplish and align the big leap you have in front of you with your vision. Make sure you surround yourself with great 'think partners' that will ask strategic questions to help think through your options."
Join us for The Women's Book fifth annual Columbus Ohio Release Party presented by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on September 12th to get your copy of the new book and connect with our profiled women leaders and local resources for women.
